Ingredients

1½ cups Cooked Toor Dal (Pigeon Pea Lentils)

2 tbsp Mom Masale Sambar Masala
🛒 Shop Sambhar Masala

1 cup Mixed Vegetables (Drumsticks, Pumpkin, Bottle Gourd, Brinjal, Okra, French Beans, Carrot, Potato)

3 tbsp Tamarind Pulp

2 tbsp Oil

1 tsp Mustard Seeds

2 Dried Red Chillies

8–10 Curry Leaves
Method
- Boil the vegetables separately with a little water and salt until tender.
- Add the cooked vegetables, tamarind pulp, and Mom Masale Sambar Masala to the cooked dal.
- Bring to a gentle boil.
- Heat oil in a small pan and prepare a tempering with mustard seeds, dried red chillies, and curry leaves.
- Pour the tempering over the sambar.
- Serve hot with steamed rice, idli, dosa, or vada.
