Vegetable Biryani

Ingredients

2 cups Basmati Rice (80% cooked)

1½ cups Mixed Vegetables

2 tbsp Mom Masale Biryani Masala
🛒 Shop Biryani Masala

½ cup Yogurt
-
2 tbsp Ghee
-
¼ cup (for garnish) Fried Onions
Method
- Marinate the mixed vegetables with the yogurt and Mom Masale Biryani Masala for 15 minutes.
- Cook the marinated vegetables until they are tender.
- In a heavy-bottomed pot, spread a layer of the cooked vegetables.
- Add a layer of the partially cooked basmati rice over the vegetables.
- Drizzle with ghee and sprinkle fried onions on top.
- Cover the pot tightly and cook on low heat ("dum") for about 10 minutes.
- Gently fluff the biryani before serving.
- Serve hot with raita or pickle.
