Shahi Paneer

A creamy, royal-style paneer curry made easy with Mom Masale Shahi Paneer Masala.

Ingredients

  • 250g paneer, cubed
  • 2 onions, pureed
  • 1/2 cup cashew paste or cream
  • 2 tbsp Shahi Paneer Masala 🛒 Shop Shahi Paneer Masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp ghee or butter
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of sugar

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the onion puree until golden.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the Shahi Paneer Masala and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the cashew paste or cream along with a splash of water, and simmer until the gravy thickens.
  5. Gently fold in the paneer cubes, season with salt and a pinch of sugar, and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with a swirl of cream, alongside naan or rice.
