Poha (Seasoned Flattened Rice)

Ingredients

3 cups Flattened Rice (Poha)

1½ tbsp Mom Masale Poha Masala (Jiravan Masala)

1 large Onion, finely chopped

¼ cup Peanuts
-
As required Oil

1 tsp Mustard Seeds

8–10 leaves Curry Leaves
Method
- Wash the poha under running water and drain well. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and roast the peanuts until crisp. Remove and keep aside.
- In the same pan, splutter the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add the chopped onion (and green chilli, if desired) and sauté until translucent.
- Add the poha, roasted peanuts, and Mom Masale Poha Masala (Jiravan Masala).
- Mix gently, cover, and cook over low heat for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
