Haldi Doodh (Turmeric Milk)

Ingredients

2 cups milk

1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
🛒 Shop Turmeric Powder

1 small piece ginger, crushed

1/4 tsp black pepper, crushed

1 tsp honey or jaggery, to taste
Method
- Pour the milk into a saucepan and place over medium heat.
- Add the Turmeric Powder, crushed ginger and black pepper.
- Whisk gently and bring to a soft simmer, stirring occasionally so it doesn't catch at the bottom.
- Simmer for 5-6 minutes to let the spices infuse into the milk.
- Strain into cups, sweeten with honey or jaggery, and serve warm.
