Ingredients

  • 1 packet Mom Masale Gulab Jamun Mix 🛒 Shop Gulab Jamun Mix
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 cups Water
  • As required (for kneading) Milk or Water
  • For deep frying Ghee or Oil

Method

  1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Simmer for a few minutes until a light, slightly sticky syrup forms.
  4. Keep the syrup warm.
  5. Transfer the Mom Masale Gulab Jamun Mix to a mixing bowl.
  6. Gradually add milk (or water) and knead into a soft, smooth dough.
  7. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into smooth, crack-free balls.
  8. Heat ghee or oil over low to medium heat.
  9. Fry the dough balls gently until they turn an even deep golden brown.
  10. Remove carefully and immediately immerse them in the warm sugar syrup.
  11. Allow them to soak for at least 2 hours so they absorb the syrup completely.
  12. Serve warm or at room temperature.
